and how difficult is it to replace? any guides anyone know around or should I send to the garage.. :tumbleweed:

Yes, get the Elring one from euro, the cheap ones on eBay are crap. 30 min job max. One for mine was only £24+vat at euro last week., M54 engine.

Checked YouTube and on n52 is way more of a faf than it is on m54 :o I'll degrease the bay and see where exactly it is coming from because I have a feeling it might be the oil cap as it feels a bit loose.

I don't remember it being that moist there last time I looked.

Looks a bit too high up to be rocker cover gasket... you'd have oil dripping onto the exhausts giving you a nice burning oil smell if it was!

I think you're right to clean up and check again but like you suggested I'd suspect oil filler cap based on that dropbox photo!

Retrofitted my new facelift bi-xenons, WITHOUT replacing the LCM 😀

All working fine, including the "flash to pass" feature.

Once Jamie drops my clear repeaters off on Sat, I'll be gingerless, will at the front anyway!

Had the alarm bonnet switch and the micro switch for the parcel shelf replaced. All under warranty ofcourse

That is precisely what's happening. Oil drips every 20 or so mins and smokes up the engine bay for a second or so. Very annoying!

Added a set of locking wheel nuts to my newly refurbed wheels and installed led internal and reg lights.

Cleaned up the fog lamps - very pitted after 12 years of road grit & salt, sanded down with drill pads, 240 grit through 400, 800, 1200 and 1500 grit, final polish with pads & chemical guys polish V34, v36 and v38. Sparkling now, going to look for some Lamin-x protectors before I refit

Nothing, but bowser134 moved my roof motor into the boot, it was pretty much dead and full of water but now it works better than ever, highly recommend
