Hmm interesting you say this.

Is it not the same as using a abrasive cutting compound? As part of polishing process?
 
Fitted a new set of paddle shifters from the push pull silly use your thumb to shift down thingys
to left down right up paddles care of a nice man on this forum
now i can gear as it should be done in manual :driving:

Layers was the wrong term, my bad. 3 times round to lift out the light surface scratches is a better description
 
Car went in for MOT. And passed. Yay. Three years in a row. So pleased

Got my new alloys on today in the pi5sing rain after giving them a coat of wax. Test ride in the morning before washing the car and then pictures :thumbsup:

19 x et33 rears... it's gonna be close!
 
Driven it 130miles over some great roads through the Dales & Ribble valley in a mix of weather with a few other Z fans :driving:

Checked all the levels, tyres and pressures. Then gave it a quick detail....before it gets rained on tomorrow ! :roll: Oh well ! At least I'll have some quality beading to look at out of the window. :D 20170729_213719.png
 
Replaced the genetic cam cover gasket I used when I did the VANOS with a proper Elring one as it was leaking.. Only used it as it came with the car..

The Elring one is £30, eBay is a tenner..

Fitted all new led interior bulbs easy fit apart from the central one bulb is too big to fit through hole so took apart and opened up the size to accommodate :D
 
Giving some attention to badge replacement as the carbon fibre ones I fitted on a few years back have gone a bit milky :(
