What have you done to your car today?

DA polished bonnet with megs ultimate megs polish and megs wax just the rest to do now really impressive stuff

Wow, that looks great. Toledo is a fantastic colour.

Had muffler delete pipes put on on Friday, went for slightly bigger oem style tips. I've done 200 miles with them on and am amazed at how good it sounds. Another 160 miles to do today and can't wait. The popping and banging is addictive. A day enjoying the car rather than tinkering :driving:

I use it on the bike Kev, degreaser and a lubricant and protector all in one. It was developed for Navy planes that are out in the elements at sea and the salt air. I've been using it for a few years on the bike, it coats all metal and stops rust and rot. I sprayed it all on there and let it creep onto all chassis parts too...it finds its own way with creeping and drives out moisture. .I even did electrical parts as it protects those too. It's really top stuff mate!

I just had a look at your link - would that stuff be any good for my corroded brake pipes? It would be much easier to apply than wire brushing and Hammerite.

Thanks.

It's supposed to stop rust spreading, but if I where you, I'd personally change them to braided pipes if they're already corroded..

Thanks.

To be fair they don't look bad enough to need replacing, but will do if I don't do something with them so it's probably my next job!

saturday was a big day for the Z....

- changing water pump
- changing accessories belt
- changing engine oil / filter & gearbox & air filter
- delete the CDV
- mounted the Mtech sway bar
- New exhaust tips fixed
- cleaned the solenoid

:D :D

I pulled the seats out of mine to hoover underneath them - good job I did, I found £1.20 too :D

Finally got around to fitting the mobile phone holder...couldn't find anywhere appropriate on the dash to fit it without it looking unsightly so opted for the door by the speaker. I'm not bothered about charging my phone on the go so its find for just holding it.
