Not quite today, but have been spraying my nuts
Had my wheels refurbished and the bolts were black and dirty, so been taking one off per wheel and painting silver. Much nicer now.

Went from this,

To this,

But there chrome not silver, so the bottom trim doesn't match. :headbang:

So if anyone has a spare lying around collecting dust it would be much appreciated.

WELL......it started off as a simple handbrake adjustment.

Then I thought the rusty arches need looking at ...SO

Here we are 6 hrs later.

@ Kap'nZ4 , wheelchoice being like a holiday destination what works for some doesn't work for all but you need to look at adding some spacers to get a better stance as right now they look tiny in the arches  what wheel widths / offsets are they :?

Roof motor moved into to the boot as a preventative measure. Many thanks to forum member Number 5 for doing the work. I have no hesitation to recommend him if you'd like this doing.
My car is a 2003 e85, the roof and motor has been working fine but after 14 years who knows what condition it was in. Turns out it was bone dry and in mint condition having never got wet before. I was very happy to see this when it appeared. It's now sitting in the back left recess in the boot covered by a piece of carpeted wood.

Replaced both rear springs today with a pair of Suplex springs as both of mine were broken :headbang: Car has just ticked over 40,000 miles.

I replaced the run flats with Michelin Pilot Sport 4's last week, and with the new springs the quality of the ride is so much better :driving: a lot softer not at all crash and bang, tram lining has gone, and the steering feels so much more positive :D

Fingers crossed for the MOT next weekend.

Passed the MOT with no advisories. Happy days. Also gave it a vacuum and a coat of Topaz.

Great news on the MOT.

It deserves to be spoilt after that!

New pedals as the others where all marked... not bad for £15 inc postage as the seller said they where for a 3 series and didn't fir his z4.

They do. :D

Wow, is that rust as a result of a poor previous repair or has it been parked in the sea? :( :o
