What have you done to your car today?

Striped down my 108s ready for refurb and also striped aero front bumper for plastic weld repair then prep for sale once sorted  IMG_0027.JPGIMG_0028.JPG

Do you have to strip down the 108s for a refurb?

I'm looking at getting mine done, but for the price they can strip them down themselves...

After fitting cruise, a new gear knob and gaiter plus refurbing the wheel the inside needed a real good clean

Looks very nice! What gearknob is that and where did you buy from? Does it replace the gaitor Aswell or is it just the knob itself lol

I bought if from BMW and its for an M5. The gaiter comes with it which needs altering to fit the Z4 as per this thread from a while ago ..

The part number is 25.22.2.284.205.

Alternatively you can get an unlit version of the same shape for less without the gaiter (which doesn't need to be replaced). Commonly known as a ZHP knob. First time I ever saw it was in the e46 330Ci Clubsport.

I don't know why BMW didn't fit something like that to the Z4 in the first place! :(

My 325ti Sport Compact came with a ZHP as standard!

Could you let me know when it's done. If I have the funds, I'll take it.
