Alloys cleaned with Bilberry wheel cleaner, car washed and polished with Auto Glym resin polish
Engine bay cleaned
Looks great
Next job to clean out washer reservoir - water looks a bit gloopy in there
Stood guard now to protect from bird strikes :D

Well I got her out of the garage and I'm about to go top up with petrol, ready for a little run out somewhere tomorrow. :D

so a month or so ago I scraped the alloy as per the usual with me ;) in a very tight car park..

today I took it off and tried to touch it up as much as I can as it was bothering me, think it came out okay. Far from perfect but on the car is not really visible.

can someone help me understand what the benefit is of sending off an oil sample? Are there further things you could do if the results come back with a problem? I'm thinking whether it's worth me doing this also as a service as due in this summer.

Also, can you tell me when you should look at changing the aux belts?

Thanks,

Lewis.

Well, it was yesterday but I had my o/s wheel bearing replaced and my car now drives like a dream. I'm sure it feels quicker too throughout the gears, stronger pull. No more droning noise, just a strong 3.0 engine doing its thing! :driving:
