Today has been MFSW retrofit wiring along with connectors for the sidelights so I can run a feed off them in future.

Today I removed the driver's door card and replaced the mirror and window control switches. They are a single assembly and push out easily from the inside of the door card. Now I have 4-way movement of the mirrors and they fold up for parking.

It was obvious the door card had been off before, there was no membrane to remove. Lots of missing plastic clips that will have to be replaced, but I will have to order them. The airbag was missing a screw but I found one that would fit. Then I lined the inside of the outer door skin with 6mm closed structure foam from Silentcoat. Put it all back together and the door closes with a clunk not a clang.

New spark plugs, air filter, cleaned airbox and MAF sensor. Smooth as silk and pulling like a train now! :driving:

Also did some coding with Carly for BMW, really easy!

20170402_131927.jpgGlad of the sun today. I'm drying the foam on the underside of the footwell carpet as it was soaked through after heavy rain and my hardtop letting it in. Luckily roof is now off and stored in the shed so i can enjoy some top down driving (once the seat is back in 8) )

Been out for a run in the Sunshine and hit all the 4's :driving: :driving: :driving:

Replaced the Pollen filter. Then managed to fix the ashtray lid that hasn't closed in over a year by wiggling a few coins out. Just my luck it will break now that I can actually use it now.

whizzed out the seats and gave it a good clean and hoover out under there...set about making them creak free too...almost have a silent cabin now after sorting cup holders last week...refitted the whippy, was never happy with the stubby but thought it would make taking the cover on/off easier which it does but tbh the cover will only get used when its laid up over winter so can just take it off then...long live the whippy  :D

gave it a clean after what must have been an elephant flew over and shat all over the boot :x :x

Dropped the roof and spent the day blatting round the lanes around Alton Towers with my youngest bambina (obviously stopping off for a trip to CBeebies Land).....
She's 4 years old and "loves Eddy the Zeddy". Got to say, I think I do too..... :driving:

Went for a drive and checked out a few garden centres, for this years ideas for our garden.
What great weather for top down driving
