What's the original vs new offset? BTW love the red on black theme, Darren![]()

Well i've just been for a quick whiz out the village along an A road and back. Have to say its a very different experience than before it was fitted and i do like it so far. Found that the sound was quite normal until i pressed the pedal hard and then the noise hit me. Will have to see what it's like on my drive to work as thats at higher speeds for longer distances before deciding on whether to add foam or not.chapeau said:Fitted a sound generator to my 2.5i just now. There was no foam in it at either end so i'm either going to love it or be in desperate need of a piece of foam8)

I ended up removing my sound generator because I found it to intrusiveI preferred the refined sound without it.

I have the standard, non-adaptive dampers John. I'm pleased with the ride quality and the handling, albeit that's based only on the drive home which was only 18 miles!john-e89 said:DLH said:Fitted Eibach sports springs and Eibach front & rear ARBs.

Are you on adaptive dampers David? If so do the Eibachs make the sport setting too hard or not? I had Eibachs on an MR2 and they were fantastic, but awful on a Z4M I tried, too low, hard and bouncy. Any thoughts on the ride now compared to before with the new equipment?
I thank you.
