What have you done to your car today?

I just did a couple for quick fixes on mine which made a big difference in appearance...new wheel badges/centres as old were faded, new bonnet badge as old one had no colour left on it at all and a new shorter aerial (9 inch whip) as the original was too long but I didn't want to go full stubby.

Swapped over to 260M wheels wrapped in brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres with 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear sizes. Really impressed with the new MPS5 rubber even though it was only a short drive and loving the reflex silver on Ruby Schwartz :D
Great choice, those look really nice on your car. Classic, but modern.
Thanks Zedebee

I will just tease for now because removing the bumper without causing damage took me ages and did not allow me to finish but let's just say I lost some badges and the front plate holder... I will post the results, hopefully next weekend if not during the week, on my build thread :P

I bought some matt carbon vinyl and had a little go at wrapping some spare E85 trim I got from eBay. Was a small tricky piece but my first ever attempt at wrapping was ok. I now plan to do the passenger side trim and center trim when I get the chance.

That looks really good. Be interested to see the rest when it’s done😎👍

Looks really good, it helps using a warm hair dryer on the tricky parts. (but you probably know that)

Thanks mate, yes the hair dryer comes in handy! I had another little play with the door handle trim tonight, very addictive!

These looks great, nice job! Where did you get the carbon vinyl? I tried this on the door hold trim and the vinyl was too thick to stay wrapped properly around the edges.

I went to MDP as it’s only down the road from me, try the link here. Really easy to use and hardly need the heat tbh.

Nothing too exciting but I took it to RBM for an Oil service and treated it to some Tesco Momentum on the way home. :)

Did you combust some of that Momentum in an enthusiastic manner?

Not really as I put it in at about 5.30 pm, but I did combust some of the previous tank of BP Ultimate rather exuberantly on the way there this morning!

Rear spring carriers got striped down and descaled after a hot steam wash in the dishwasher (obviously whilst the other half was at work )

Then they were treated to some Powerflex polybushes, pretty straightforward for once :D
