What have you done to your car today?

I had to get some peanuts for the bird feeder so went to a shop 12 miles away. On the way home I decided I must find a shop further away next time. When I got home I noticed a few bits of dust on the car so decided to wash it again. Looked so good parked there I decided to take some pics of it. Typical Z day

Lovely 👌🏻

New brembo discs and pads on the rear to match the ones on the front that were replaced in May
Now the car stops when I ask it to.

Not had much opportunity to drive the Z4 recently, life just seems to keep getting in the way. It's spent a lot of time languishing on the drive just looking shabby which has been really getting to me. So finally had chance today to lavish it with some well overdue TLC. After a bath and a quick going over with my Farecla Clay Mitt it received 1 coat of Poorboys Blackhole and 2 coats of Soft99 Fusso Coat Dark. I've also been using the Fusso on my gloss black alloys as an experiment for a while and have to say I won't be going back to any wheel seal products I've used previously as it's so good  20190711_153642.jpg20190711_153800.jpg
Hopefully going to get out and about over the weekend :driving:

Looks fantastic! The stance is perfect. What springs have you got with your B4s?

Cheers

Saj
Thanks Saj :D I had it on M-Sport springs but really didn't enjoy the ride so took the opportunity whilst fitting the B4s last year to put the old SE springs back on. The 2 front springs are original but both rears were replaced several years ago before I owned it. I think the MV3s help the stance too as they are staggered 8J and 8.5J but with front et 34 and rear et 37 so the wheels sit further out in the arch. No spacers either

Ah ok, I thought you must be on lowered aftermarket springs such as Eibachs. It looks spot on

Fitted new Brembo discs, all round with all 6 new flexible hoses, new reconditioned OEM front calipers and Textar cermaic epads all round...I'm now skint but the car stops nicely :D

Looking good. I've hardly used mine lately. Got a busy July but looking forward to getting some good runs in next month.
