What have you done to your car today?

Picked up a new 3.0si yesterday and drove it home from Inverness to Essex. 9hrs of backbox deleted delight. I’ve never heard another zed sound anything quite like this one. The noise on acceleration is brutal. Massive cracks and pops on upshifts.

Changed the xenon bulbs, pita to get the ignitors back on. Broke two tabs off of them.
More fun part was testfitting the wheels.

I find that the socket that the bulb goes in on one of mine gets orientated incorrectly and it won’t go on - have to stick a screwdriver in and push it into correct position, then try sticking it on the bulb again.

Well after washing it yesterday it rained last night.

So this morning I took it to a monthly classic car do and met up with forum member "1doohan".

By the time I got home it was dirty again! :roll:

Took the coupe for a 160 mile round trip to Herefordshire. Saw rain, sunshine, then snow before getting back! Definitely needs a clean now. Eisenmann race bedding in nicely now - You can tell that they have specifically tuned the sound, not just a louder noise.

Fitted a new glove box Handel and a microswitch for the drop top! Both were broken when I brought my car - 10 minute job But high satisfaction levels

I actually got both parts from a guy who was breaking his car on Facebook so unfortunately I don’t know the part numbers - I paid £50 for both delivered .

FG Marder? I almost had one of those a while back but went for the Baja 5b instead. Crazy machines, especially after I stuck a 32cc motor in it sold on a couple of years ago now.

Baby wipes around engine bay as a degreaser and this:
