What have you done to you Z this weekend?

that is something i would like doing on my Zed .
90k covered so its getting ready for a refresh . my guess is around £250 ?
post up the job & the costs when you have it sorted [/quote]

Recently paid £240 BMW approved paint shop plus cost of 1 wing /bumper bracket . Excellent job better than original finish.

nowt again

maybe through the winter months we should arrange a meet up for a Zedchat , bacon butty & a coffee . the drive to get there would be enough excuse to get out :) obviously it would not be coupe specific :?
there seems to be a few other members within 30/40miles so not so much of a day taken up . more a sunday morning Zed appreciation meet ?

a couple of possible rendevouz's / http://www.boatyardinn.co.uk/ ( mid M65 ideal for manchester/lancs )

http://www.cafecargo.com/ ( would suit our yorkshire chums 10miles from skipton )

both have ample parking , great locations & serve mornings

Rained most of the day and still raining now. Zed nice n dry stored so used the daily instead. This may be repeated as autumn/winter rolls in. Not one for neglect so ordered a set of 17mm wheel bolt caps in graphite grey to pacify my OCD :)

Rebuilt suspension
cleaned callipers up fully and re-greased
cleaned and painted disk bells and edges
cleaned/polished and sealed wheels
cleaned/dressed arches
Fully detailed car and sealed with AMDetail Seal

Just to rebuild the rear diff and carrier next week and finally get to drive it again :)

Drove it out the garage into the pissing rain so that I could mix tile cement in the garage, in the dry.

Left it out now overnight, as it's soaking wet and I'm tired...

Sometimes they need hard love

Bought some 2009 Z4 OEM rims for some winter boots - if the seller responds to my text & tells me their house number, will collect them tonight

I just need to work out if they are 18 as advertised or 17" rims.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320979059071?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_500wt_922

They are the standard E89 wheels an are indeed 17" all round, perfect for winter tyres

My cars still at the stealers, so instead I treated myself to a new pair of boots :D

Just this weekend i acquired a two car garage and a new house to keep my baby out of the elements :D pics soon to come, just as soon as we get moved in.

Am I the only one who doesn't really care that it got wet?

I did phone the 5 star wash to find out about getting the hood cleaned/sealed.

Well last week I replaced my faulty parking sensor and on the weekend i replaced my rear brake pads :)

... oh and while i was at it i also cleaned out the drains from the bottom up - good job as the one on the passenger side had a fair bit of gunk in it!
