Ok so it's Christmas and I'm sat watching all sorts of stuff on the TV - I am slowly getting so brassed off ! Watching "caught on camera" why does nobody post any footage of police or soldiers doing good things !!! These people keep us safe !
It's all security guards dragging people to the ground (or should we say cheating robbing twisted bastards getting finaly what they deserve !!!) and then the security guard gets sacked !!!!!!!!! My god - am I alone with this ?
 
I don't watch that much telly and what I do watch is usually recorded so I can fast forward throught any adverts, which drive me nutz - there seem to be more of them than programme these days. I realise the TV companies need revenue but the amount of ads now is getting ridiculous. I was ff through one prog last week and there was just short of 7 mins of ads in one break. I spend more time either in the garage fettlin' with the bike or the car, or on the PC wading through the zillions of photographs I take and finding ones suitable for my website - much more interesting than telly :)

And yes I take your point about the caught on camera type progs but again it's down to revenue and they're cheap to make I guess. Most of my viewing when I do watch stuff is made up of Sky "Box Sets" or on Netflix.
 
Dewi, I'm another that records almost everything that I watch as I just can't stand the mindless commercials that are 35 to 40% of the broadcast.
 
Don't give up hope, there's still some gold to be found but TV is changing.

It was some time ago that 5 breaks in the hour was brought in - now there can be just 5-7 mins of a programme and a break! Dreadful - no wonder peoples' viewing habits are changing. :thumbsdown:
