What has happened?

Hi guys any advice/solutions? Have not used my zed for a few months while I was away. Charger was not on (idiot) battery went flat. Jump started and recondioned battery with ctek charger and car starts fine but no instrument lights or dials working? Plus roof won’t go down but indicators, lights, heater and windows all working. What has happened?

Transport mode? Battery was new 2 years ago.

It doesn’t matter how new the battery is, transport mode can activate if you allow the battery to flatten

If it’s gone to transport mode you need someone with high level diagnostics to reset or code out the mode, something like Carly won’t do it

Thanks Rob very helpful. Think I will take it in to my local indi to be looked at, is it safe to drive it?

It should be OK to drive it in Transport Mode - I think it's set that was at the factory so they can move cars to the compound, onto and off transporters, etc.

It's supposed to be deleted when the dealer does the PDI, but from what I've read on here it often just gets taken out of Transport Mode as that is quicker!

Hope it's as simple as that.

Doesn’t quite sound like transport mode to me (easy test is...does the aircon button light up or not?). If your battery has been left discharged for that long it WILL be sulphated. Put a new battery in before you do anything else.

Mine was in transport mode after a battery swap. The clear indication is no rear heater glass, aircon not working and blower motor only works on very low.
