What happens?

What happens after you put the tyre repair gloop in your non runflats?

How do they find the hole in the casing to do a proper job - I assume the gloop is just a "get you home" fix.

A bit confused here - runflat tyre means what it says, get a puncture and within certain limitations you can 'run it flat'. So why would you want to put 'repair gloop' in a runflat?

They clean the tyre out and clean up the rim. Some garages refuse to do it as it's a horroble mess.

Easy enough to find eiher where whatever punctured the tyre is still stuck in, or where the sealer leaked through.

Have you had a flat RONK? You'll just have to use something else from the stable :poke:

No! Just had a set of Vreds fitted today and it was just something the tyre fitter said " You know these things are not runflats"? I told him about the gloop and it was him who asked how to find the puncture point. It go me thinking.
Never mind, the Vreds are a big change from the Bridgestones!

Now I think I'll have to start looking for some decent wheels, the 108's are starting to look a bit shabby and I dont fancy spending £125 a corner on a refurb.

Re the stable, can you ever have too many toys? :D

(I know the answer)
