What exhaust do I need to get this sound?

I'm confused by all the available exhausts - is it really down to cost (ie. there is a good option at £500 and £1000 etc), or do many cost similar amounts but sound different?

For that level of 'noise' you're going to have to remove the cats and the silencers, and replace them with straight-through pipes - however if you're in the UK you may want to have some method of refitting the cats for the MOT.

Oh, and expect to be pulled by the BIB quite often and possibly be given an ASBO on the car - get two of them in a year and you lose the car, with no redress or right of appeal whatsoever.

There are plenty of TVRs on the streets making more noise than that. The trick is not to be a tw@ and rev it too hard in urban areas, especially when the neighbours are trying to sleep.
