What does this button do?

Ok, I should know this and feel a bit of a twonk for asking. Button below the wind deflector and above the storage hole which I think is for a multi cd player unit? Haven't pressed it I case it's a self destruct or my Mrs going flying off in an ejector seat.

Think is something to do with manually lowering the roof but honestly cant remember..I also have never touched it :lol: :lol:

It does nothing it is just there maybe for an option on another country

It's the latch release in case you need to manually lift the roof up.

That's true for pre-facelift models.

Won't do anything on yours. I'm not sure why BMW removed it - possibly something that went wrong a lot and was never actually needed.
