What does 'CDV Deleted' mean??

I see on quite a few 'car profiles' that people list 'CDV deleted'.
What is this exactly?

I think I will give this a go, going to fit an aftermarket replacement (if I can find one) rather than bend the pipes around.

No need to bend pipes, just unplug the valve and reconnect. Doesn't make a vast difference. On my car bit less judder when i first move off, first ride of the day if i forget to be in sport mode to start with.
