What do you think of this colour (yellowish)

I'm not a fan of PY, but it is interesting g that, as stars says, Sepang Bronze and Phoenix Yellow are both lusted after colours, but hardly anyone ordered them in those colours new. Are they now popular because they are rare, or have tastes changes that much in less than 10 years? I suspect the latter - white seems to be the new black!

I love Phoenix Yellow. BMW did the same colour on the E46 M3 and you could get it with kiwi leather. It looked great :)

there were two reasons I bought my 2006 PY 2.5 Si Z4, the first was the colour (obviously) and second it was ridiculously cheap..... because of the colour

Oh how I loved that car, one of my worst dumbass decisions in life was to sell it :headbang:

I'm definitely a fan of Phoenix Yellow. Looks great if properly detailed.

Almost as much as Dakar Yellow of the E36/46 era.

I love that colour. Friend had an M3 in a similar colour and another had a z3m coupe in it. Mettalic urine was what he called it but I think it's gorgeous

I quite like it, but come resale time it reduces your potential buyers.

not sure myself, i think as the cars become older and more collectable i think the unusual colours will be sort after more. Pheonix Yellow, Merlot, Sepang Bronze, Green - i think all these will be collectable

I think phoenix yellow looks the best on those 2 cars. Especially on a e46 m3 conv.

I have one of these - I absolutely love it!!

Looks stunning when clean...

I have not seen another one in the same colour since I bought it - when I bought my green focus RS to stand out a bit, there were bleedin loads of them!!

Get it bought ha ha

Will do - next dry day it will be cleaned and a few snaps taken! I have added the stubby and lowered on eibachs - looks great!

All in my opinion of course ;-)

Several years ago when I worked for a certain large North West BMW group it was known jokingly as 'P*ss Yellow/Puke Green' ! I always really wanted to like it but it is not quite acid yellow enough for me. I think it first appeared on E46 M3s and was an Individual colour on other models ?
