What do you think my car is worth?

Well looking thru the ads, my spec but older is reaching 13K so I figure Ill start high, as expected, and if someone makes me a sensible offer Ill consider it. No point putting it on at a silly low price, it will go but I'd always wonder if I could have got that bit more... I can always reduce it if theres no interest, but looking around, plenty are selling for similar prices that are frankly nowhere near as good as mine.

£1k? PVR, I think your posts are really very good most of the time, but there is no way the Sat Nav adds £1000 to the value. It just doesn't. £500 maximum, in my opinion.
 
No one cares for satnav. Most people have a TomTom anyway. And on a care this age no-one wants old firmware and the software is always out of date unless updated through expensive stealer discs (assuming it's done legally).

£500 is the difference I have been quoted from two different sources when pricing my car also, on a X5 it's a must but Z4 not so important.
 
£3 - £4K for a hot hatch - then I would look at a Renault Clio 182 (trophy if you can find one at that sort of price, prob not) - they depreciate pretty quickly and are the best to drive (apparently, all the mags love em - I would say Mini Cooper S, but they are expensive for their age and even more rattly than our Z4s!).

Depends on your requirements but seriously look at a Fiat Coupe 20vt, LE or PLus, for £4k you cannot buy a more special feeling car (or one thats faster in a straight line). They aren't that bad to run if looked after (no stupid stories please folks, I used to own one so I know the real costs).

Otherwise as suggested a 182 is a great choice.
 
I know what you mean Shabba, my old coupe just sold on Pistonheads for 2k. Would have thought about buying it back at that price just to hear the 5 cylinder growl again :D . They're a tough act to follow in a lot of respects!
