After a post with link someware re petrol,I have over the last 10 tankfulls put in tesco's best and must admit it seem's to have improved throttle responce and fuel mpg,as it came best out of the test against BP,V-POWER . What do you use,do you find it differant from the normal fuel??
Or is it all hipe and we just think it is better.and if you think it is better is :? there a saveing in the long run?? :?

Tesco 99 if I'm near a station, otherwise Total Excellium 97 as It's the best I can get locally, on Tesco 99 I average around 30mpg it drops to around 27mpg on Total not that i'm that bothered about mpg but on Tesco the car does feel better, can't comment on V-Power as I've never tried it.

always use the higher octane 97 minimum in the UK.Whilst on my recent road trip used 100 regularly even found some 102 octane in Germany.
The Zed did an average of 34 mpg over the trip too.

Another Tesco Momentum fan here. I've found it makes around 2mpg more on my 3.0i than standard unleaded which covers the extra cost of the fuel.

Cannot remember if I have posted this before on the last post on fuel, anyway I am using about 60 litres of fuel and covering just over 500 miles a week on shell or Sainsbury's regular.

Have never tried high octane fuel but it would cost me an extra £5 a week, which when I spend £80 already......actually does not seem that bad hmmmm

It would mean that I would have to achieve 40 mpg for it to be worth it though :o
