What do you do when you replace run flat tyres

Hi All

I am looking into buying a z4 around 2004/2005. From what i have read here many came with run flat tyres which give a poor ride. If someone has replaced the run flat tyres. If someone has replaced the run flats with normal tyres, legally do you have to carry a spare tyre with you now?

No just a form of sealing and inflation M devision cars came like that from factory
