What do you do for a living?

I'm a university Professer. I teach biomechanics, anatomy & exercise physiology and strength & conditioning. It's cool and I'm lucky enough to say that I love my job. Although I hate the grading part.

Personal assistant to Sir Frank Williams :winner:

Yes it is as good as it sounds  no I can't get cheap f1 tickets

Run my own Decorating Company part time now as the son-in-law does most of the work. :D

My girlfriend and I own our own dog training business based in Bolton.
Quite a change of scene for me after working in higher education for nearly 20 years! Been going for several years now and loving in - I'd struggle to go back to an office job now if I had to.

Mechanical engineer specialising in heat transfer. Spent most of my career in gas turbine design, mostly aircraft engines, predicting temperatures of engine components in service. Got to travel a lot, USA, Japan, Europe etc until email and video conferencing came in!

Retired now but spend one day per week as a technical consultant for a major power company.

I work part time in a school these days (I sold my bridal & mens hire shop a couple of years ago)
and I also earn a bit as a wire sculptor.

Also skivvy.

I'm a male stripper in a seedy gay club in Birmingham where I let dirty old men take me up the wrong un for £50.00 a time. :o

...Ok, not really.
I play professional football for Aston Villa but I was too embarrassed to tell you all the truth.

Roadside Parol at The AA,
You meet some interesting characters, and your out in the fresh air all day

Stuart

Account Director at a global IT Solutions/Reseller

My clients and the variety of projects I work on keep it very interesting.

Decent cushty job as I oversee quite a few engineers that actually like me (or so they say).

I’ll kick things off:

I’m a consultant for an advertising and design agency.
This involves spending time in Paris, Milan and London, and consulting at major product launches. We have ties with the motor industry and the fashion industry, which requires involvement in the major motoring shows and fashion weeks around the world – I’ve just come back from New York fashion week and the next job is a marketing launch and a test drive of the new BMW M2 at Thruxton. . . And then the alarm goes off and I wake up :( I’m actually a Management Information Officer at a North West University - and yes, it’s as dull as it sounds.

:P i was 3/4ers into that thibnk whaaaaaaaaaaat before the sucker punch :P nice one Colin

I manage the operational risk for a hedge fund - surprisingly interesting and still learning new things every day.

Works manager of a small printing firm only work 4 days a week now and love it

z4 forum discount for bulk prints? :P - I'm at the planning stages of freelance quality photography ventures.

I'm in admin full time which is funding my real ambition in Health and Safety consulting, mid way through evening course 1/2 at the moment.

(also planning my Wedding for 2017- I consider this a stressful full time job) did it right though and got myself the Zed before the big day
