Can we assume you didn't go for the other one you were looking at last week?

Pity they didn't bother to light the photos better, or clean the car, or fix the flooded headlights.

So much for the AA inspection guarantee - which is a waste of time anyway as I've found out in the past:

• if you have a warranty problem the dealer will point you to the AA, the AA will point you back to the dealer
• the breakdown cover will be invalidated as they only cover cars up to 10 years old / 100,000 miles - and will be the bare minimum cover if it is valid

I'm not cynical, I'm just experienced

Yeah he wouldn't budge on price so I didn't go for it, I did go to see a roadster, but wasn't for me

It's quite a good colour combination, and it's quite unusual to find an SE model with the M-Sport seats and steering wheel fitted as options. The Cirrus Aluminium trim is also pretty rare.

It wouldn't be hard to swap the wheels, but heated seats would be more of a challenge! Mind you how much do you need them in a Coupe?

It isn't that cheap either - I didn't get any interest in my Montego Blue Coupe until I dropped the price to £6,600 (although it was on 91K miles).

Assuming you can spare the time and don't mind the travel it might be worth a look, given that the colour and interior is pretty unusual.

If nothing else you'll find out whether an E86 is the car for you!
