Yikes! Those fees are outrageous. California promotes the use of personalized plates. They offer many different styles and themes. I think I paid about $100 initially and then about $50 a year. They really see you coming when you want to get personalised plates. Ranging from $180 to $400 for the order, and between $109 and $469 annual fee!!!
