What courtesy car?

And what's your thoughts onthe DCT Taz? I think it's amazing....but would be good to hear from a manual driver, what you think......
, especially after all the hassle you've had with Williams lately. side by side the new z4 must be another foot longer
i have just come in, i am bloomin freezin, a 3 mile drive with the roof down, well i can't say i'm impressed with the roof down experience, it was 7degC outside and the chill factor took it to about -20degC, not my thing at all :thumbsdown:

ok in conclussion,
if i had the choice of this new Z4 or my beloved coupe i would stick with what i have
the new zed feels to be a bigger motor and feels less sporty, my coupe feels to be quicker of the mark i.e. when suddenly flooring it, the new zed appears to respond that fraction slower, after a split second then ye, it picks up like s**t of a shovle and i'm sure it would pull away from the coupe
i do prefer the internal bits of the new z4, makes my coupe look very dated, but hey ho thats to be expected, the radio, cd, sat etc are very nice, but then my golf also makes the coupe look boring and old fashioned internally
would i want to swap my coupe for a ragtop, er no way, 3 miles of driving with the roof down confirmed that, it was just a cold miserable experience

it's ok, we understand that you wouldn't want to say so 
they have just been and picked up the courtesy car
so after a week of driving the new Z4 my thoughts:
The interior is very nice and modern, makes the coupe very boring
The top down experience is not my thing however it is winter, i'm sure it would be nice in the south of france
The boot is very small if you want the benefits of the top down, so i think i would struggle a europe camping holiday
The shape of the coupe is much better to me, you can't beat the rear of the coupe

I honestly try and have the roof down as much as possible not easy with it raining at least once a day lately,nearly got caught out before whilst driving home with roof down with silly hat on and it started to rain whilst on a roundabout

We've all been there, had to stop under a motorway bridge not long ago, wasn't raining when i left but chucked it on the motorway, took a few minutes to de steam the interior of the car once the roof was up
The z4 that taz posted is the reason I'm on this forum. I was given it for two weeks when my impreza was written off.
I loved the car and I had the roof down every day! Taz did you have the heated seats and steering wheel on when you tried having the roof down? I found they made a big difference.
The new cars are too expensive for me at the moment but I am looking out for a 3.0 or m roadster next year.
