What colour to paint my MV2's?

Hi Guys,

My black 2.5i sport has currently got MV2's on there which are in need of a tidy up, I want a set of 108's really but there's a few other bits and bobs on the list that I want for the car before those.

One of my best mates is a car painter and does my wheels for me, I'm just deciding what colour I want them.

1) Brilliant silver (paint left over from refurbing my mk7 Fiesta Zetec S wheels) - This is a very bright and sparkly silver with lots of big metallic flakes, it's much nicer than the colour BMW paint the MV2's which I find to be a rather flat and boring silver

2) Gunmetal grey - I'm also quite tempted to go for a metallic gunmetal grey type colour, never had the balls to do it before as I like the wheels to contrast the car (always had black cars) but I think it might look quite good on the Zed with it being black, having the black headlights etc.

Opinions please

I'd go for the brilliant silver, never been keen on wheels in colours other than silver. My girlfriend has a mk7 Zetec S, it's only now you mention it that I've realised the colour of the wheels does always look better on the Fiesta. Might get mine redone in that finish too.

Does she have the 17" wheels? It is a really nice sparkly colour, especially in the sun! I got a pot of the paint from wheelpaints.co.uk, it's under ford brilliant silver. I'm sure any refurb place would have a similar colour though .
