What colour grill.....?

Im tempted to make my Z4 Coupe a little more individual and change the colour of the front grill. Now many people have gone black, which works well with either a black or silver car (blend / contrast), but I'm not sure it would work so well with Montego blue.

So come on everyone give me a few ideas...thought about anthracite...but I'm not sure that would be much different from standard.

Anyone good with photoshop?

How would it look colour coded the same as the bodywork?

I am, it'd roughly look like this:

You can't upload them direct to the forum, only to imageshack or photobucket or other hosting site

Not sure if I like the colour coded grill, looks a bit too much. Like you say, black might not look as good as it does on other colours. Maybe if the chrome surround was matt or satin black and the grilles themselves were kept standard :scratchhead:

You can find the instructions on the Newbies Forum.

X2
Get the Bav Auto matte black grill kit and paint the inner part gloss/flat black. I really think it will give a more aggressive look.
Matching the same color looks terrible IMO( sorry ).

Try going with a satin or matte black on the grill initially while leaving the ring chrome. Easy to do and changes the look of the car significantly. If you're still looking for something more, then tape the chrome rings with trim tape and see how you like it. If all black isn't your thing, then pull off the trim tape. With the blue, I think the chrome ring might look good for contrast.
