What color is the best of best you think?

If you're going to re-spray then go off-book and do something that wasn't available to order when new, because if you're just going to paint it a standard colour, then surely it would be easier and cheaper to just buy one in the colour that you want?

Also, depends what your colour your seats are.

But if i could order one new, dark green with a tan interior. Hmmmm...

I saw a new 3 series yesterday that was a dark metallic grey / black, never seen it before but it looked great and I thought it would make a great Z colour. I love my Stratus Grey coupe - it really pops in the sun with browns and greys in the paint, in the rain though it looks diesel blue!

Fearful of getting thrown off the forum, I’ll through in a Vauxhall colour seen on the Corsa, it a dark met grey that looks like you could put you hand in it - it would work well too!

I disagree, BMW produced some amazing colours at the time but the nicer ones are rarely found on affordable examples (at least here on mainland Europe). I’m not going to dish out 50k in Euro because I definitely need to have Sepang or Imola on an E85 Z4. And yes, that is what the M cars in those colours with low mileage go for nowadays over here.

So I’d be more than happy to respray in:
- Imolared
- Interlagosblue
- Montegoblue
- Phoenixyellow
- Sepangbronze
- Deepgreen

Of course when looking for sterling silver or sapphire black I completely agree and you should trade your car for one in those colours since there are many.

Yeah, I guess by installing the picnic table so high up, they then had to lower the suspension to reach it.

I was thinking the sheer amount of downforce generated by that wing had just permanently squashed the suspension
