What coding can code out PDC ?

I have an E86 but previously it had a rear bang and replaced rear end it does not have the sensor holes drilled but it does have the original PDC module still installed. I would like to remove that by coding.

When going in reverse it gives the long beep signifying an error with the PDC. My BMW mechanic says cant code out with BMW coding as alters the factory setup and to research others around or on forum.

Just looking to buy whatever coding that will do this specific job of removing PDC from the car ?

Just unplug the module. Its behind the panel under the steering wheel.

You will need ISTA on a laptop to remove PDC from the VO and CAS along with unplugging/ remove the PDC module and that will for sure sort it.

Disconnect the (single wire?) plug going into the gong?

Disconnecting the module won’t stop the error beep going into reverse I need to code it out first

ISTA is the old BMW’s own s/w suite…freely available to download from various sites,, about as user friendly as a cornered rat…but..very ca-able..

VO and CAS are vehicle order and car access system…the car ‘knows’ what parts are fitted by checking with the VO and CAS..if you remove the entries in VO and CAS then the car will not ‘know’ they exist..with the proviso that if the h/w is still connected then the car may be ‘perplexed’ as to data comi g from a unit it doesn’t know about..

ISTA allows you to edit the CAS and VO as well as many many other things…like all the diagnostics and instructions on how to do almost everything to the car…
