What car to spend £25k on ?

Congratulations Mavster.
She's a real beauty in gray. Very nice tan interior as well. Too bad they put the steering wheel on the wrong side :P

The Gen 6 Mustang is maybe the high point of American muscle cars 50 plus years after it's introduction in 1965. The GT with it's 5 L Coyote V8 is cranking out 435 hp. A 6 spd manual and the independent rear suspension with limited slip makes it a worthy sports car. Second hand they are quite reasonably priced often with low miles. Many have all the amenities like heated and cooled leather seats with adaptive suspension.
We went to a cars and coffee meet today - there were several 1960s Mustangs along side the newest Shelby and GT500 models. Lots of Chevy Camaros, Dodge Demons, a rare McClaren, both old and new Supra (which bore the moniker Zupra on it) ... And one nice E86 in gray, couple of Honda S2000, a Miata, and a Datsun Fairlady were among the group of about 70 cars

Very nice indeed. Great value for money used. I must also say the land around your home is very pretty too :driving: 8)

It's country living for sure. They grow wheat and grapes, citrus, and avacado here. Pretty in the wet season but long dry summers turn everything brown.

I decided on abandoning my criteria and bowed to my mid life crisis pangs.

Agreed on this 4.7 V8 beauty

The perfect mix of style and performance Sir. 8) :driving:

Not too much sleeping going on though.

Monaro 6.0 VXR with a supercharger conversion. Hardly a sleeper looking car but still, nobody expects them to be packing 500bhp and enough torque to slow the earths spin on hard acceleration.
I owned a 5.7 before and loved it to bits!

Hey Mr [ref]scootr[/ref], that is a brilliant plate on the mustang!

Quite jealous how you guys can just invent whatever combination you want.

Thank you, I spent way too much time entering a million ways to spell it which the computer kept kicking out as unavailable :headbang:
I won't admit how much time I spent on the E89 plate I'm waiting on Z RDSTR :D :D

Lovely looking car Mavster.

Mind you I wouldn't mind scootr's choice either.

Now all I need to do is find £25K for a car.

If you do find the money be quick about your choice before the wife finds you needing a new kitchen instead.

That won't be a problem - Mrs Tidy has a different address these days!

I don't know. I recon £5 million would give me peace of mind.

Luckily I never had £5 million, or I would doubtless have lost most of it anyway!

Anyway, to get back on topic I hope Mavster enjoys his Maserati - those V8s sound fantastic.

Yes, they do sound fantastic... One last thought on love & money.
Whoever said money can't buy you love,
never bought a puppy :)

I wanted Z4RDSTR but somebody beat me to it. Simply RDSTR would be nice as well, sadly also taken
So after many years of letting people choose their plate for a price  the selection is slim pickin's
