Not sure "Aston" and "sleeper" go hand-in-hand :D
No one will expect you to push an Aston. I  have never seen one being driven hard. May be you could be the first? :D :driving:
Not seen one pushed hard, but had a v12 vantage pull up next to me on a slip road couple of years ago while I had the roof down. Kind gent did me the honours of putting his foot down. Oh the sound :D

I had one buzz me in airport tunnel once, though a plane had landed for a second ;)

A supercharged Monaro would see you at the power your wanting , it'll also be done with the problems ironed out . They're sort of under the radar as most people don't know what they are , let alone a supercharged one , a v8 so sounds good , manual gearbox and you'll have change for a few tanks of fuel , should last you all of two hours :D it'll cost a damn sight less to service than an Aston too .
Fast audis attract the wrong sort of attention , criminals know exactly what they are !

Could be a laugh

Have you considered the S4 avant B8/9?? Amazingly reliable cars, and can be very easily re-programmes to put out 400hp+. There’s a brilliant video with Chris Harris where he compares this with the RS4 of the same generation and they are equally quick... a proper sleeper car, and the blower is an absolute peach 😁

If you needed any more convincing, they’re properly good value too 👌 low mileage FSH cars at your budget 👍

I decided on abandoning my criteria and bowed to my mid life crisis pangs.

Agreed on this 4.7 V8 beauty

Wow, what a beauty! It's my dream next car.
Congratulations!

Thanks guys.

Yes looks and sounds to match indeed. Here's an inside pic. This is a automated manual called a MC, and allows exhaust magic to be heard lower down the rev range when compared to the full auto version. I Intentionally looked to get different interior colour compared to the black of the 35iS.

Don't know much about these, but it looks good and the performance stats suggest its something special to drive - congrats  :driving:

Not so much a sleeper. I picked up a like new 2017 Mustang GT with 6 spd manual for 32k usd
If that don't fire you up you're already dead
Please ask for pictures :D

I hope it gets love and not hater type attention out on the road. It's a very beautiful looking car in the flesh, I made the mistake of going to see one on a Sunday afternoon, it was a slippery slope after that, especially when you stand behind it on startup and feel the exhaust tone resonate through your chest that 1st time 😍
