well lets just say that i can't just park it anywhere, anytime, it sends an image......one i'm not quite sure of....but i'm becoming quite wary of letting first dates walk me to my car. :driving:

Yah, I've been told I need a "separator" car. Then after they've accepted me with the "seperator" car I can break out the Z :yeah: BONUS !! HAHAHA

Unfortunately, you two are correct about first impressions given when a BMW is involved. The guys were probably intimidated by it.

yes, they are either intimidated, or they think we are going to support them....one or the other. I guess a HEALTHY guy would just go, oh, nice car, she must have worked hard to earn it....good for her.

SoCalSizzle and rosierobins, you both are "California Girls". I'm not sure what it is, but I've always been intimidated by california girls, no matter what they drive. Of course, I was born a Yankee and became a Texan by the grace of God, so the cultures there are worlds apart anyway.

I agree that a good guy would respond kindly to the car, but most guys that I know (yea, ok, I'll admit it, including myself) have a bit of a superiority complex in relationships.

I'll stop there so as to end the :hijacked: . If you wanna expand on the subject, lets create a different thread for it in "The Lounge". I love this kinda talk.
