What are you using this winter?

I was not keen to use the 35i when the weather is really nasty and the M140i is not ideal in some conditions. So I looked around for a cheap “bomb” to run around in. And so here it is! A 16 year old X5 3.0 petrol. 122 miles with a full history. For only £2k!!! And guess what? I love it!

So what are you running instead of your Z or are you doing snow Z?

Nothing. My 35i did just fine through last winter and will be my daily this winter too

what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in intelligence, attitude and presence!

Just dumped an A200 and added an X3 to the fleet, using the Z4 most days but when the going gets tough i can be found in the X3

There was no way the Z was going when pitted against the A200 during the Wifey negotiations

Cant beat an X... don't know why ive taken so long to warm to them

Its a 1.0 Toyota IQ, use it for all the dangerous stuff like shops and car parks! Great little car, there's an Aston Martin version also.
