What are you doing on Saturdays?

I'm wondering what you're average Z4 owner does on a Saturday. We're trying to get a Lakes meet togehter for 18th October and so far only 4 of us have expressed an interest. Seems like our American cousins are a far more sociable lot :poke:

So what are you all doing?? Painting the hall? Shopping with the wifey? Walking the dog? Darning your socks??

Come on, get the roof down and head for the Lakes meet...You won't regret it..
 
I would love to BUT
1# way to far to drive :driving:
2# will be in China for work :(
3# have to walk the dog :P
4# have a coupe so can't put the roof down :roll:

I'm ranting at all these Northeners who would rather geld their whippets than go for a good drive!
 
Every 1st Saturday of every month we have an informal meet at a Panera's coffee/pastry shop (they are a large national chain) from 7am to when the last person leaves. Yesterday the weather was perfect, light jacket - top down to arrive, sans jacket when I left. Good place to bs about anything. There were about 20 of us with 2 new members of our local BMW CCA KC Chapter. We hang out in the parking lot for an hour (weather permitting) to kick tires and see what mods etc have been added since the last time these same people met up. Fun and without a script.

Love to go to the Lake District for a meet but the same pond that 2dogs has issues with getting over here, impedes me coming over there. This forum is the next best thing.

Have fun and keep the rubber side down.

sammyz, I'm there pal, lets see who we can get to come along. I will see if i can get my z4 owning mate to come as well.

slightly off topic, but where in Merseyside are you? I'm over on the Wirral.
 
Well I'll be at a Croft track day on the 17th, so I think I'll have done enough driving for the weekend :driving:
 
That particular Saturday I'm at Rockingham circuit driving a Caterham Superlight SV all day :D

oh and the lakes is a long way from down here :(

I did all my uni exams at that fecking racecourse.

Yep, im in anyway, can meet up wherever and head over. Hope we can find some more!

Prepping the Jeep for an off road competition in Southern Ireland the following Thursday to Monday inc. All domestic brownie points taken up for that part of the diary...

Generally up for trips out, drives and meets
 
Hi folks. I would have been up for this but will be working a late shift unfortunately. I start at three, so would be up for a pub lunch over on that side of the water if anyone fancied it, but won't be able to make it out as far as the lakes?

I am also based on the Wirral.
 
Last chance to sign up for the grand Lakes Tour this saturday. Weather will be great, roads will be great and the cars will be fantastic!!!! Details on the Meets board :thumbsup:
