Well we went from York this afternoon across to a place called Humnanby Gap beach which is in Filey our little dog Sprout just loves this beach and chasing his balls there  But to get there we drove through the Yorkshire Wolds on superb country roads and today it was epic, the sun was blazing we had the roof and windows down and just went for it, I just love the sounds and smells with the top down and the sound of trees and hedges whooshing past us, the sound of the 3.0 when pushed is just intoxicating and where safe and possible I hammered it past slow vehicles and the noise it makes especially when revving over 5 and 6 thousand is just a massive rush, at one stage I passed two cars and a motorbike all together on a long straight what a buzz, this 3.0 goes like a rocket I can't believe how much I adore this car and the feelings it creates for us.

We got back home after a brilliant bracing beach walk and all of us smiling, even my dog :) What a day what a drive and wow what a car I LOVE IT

Very envious, I know Humnanby Gap beach very well as my parents use to take me there when I was a child. The roads in that area are great, however I see no pictures :poke:

It has to be said though Andya1 :worthless:

Ahhh ok well there aren't any and the reason is I was too wrapped up in the whole drive and a picture was the last thing on my mind as I was just concentrating on keeping the Zed on the road :)

It really can but I know someone is going to come on here and say I should have an M for an even better sound :)

If you want a better sound, you should get a 2.0i with a backbox delete/mod

Sounds great - how's Sprout (great name by the way) get on in the Zed?

We've got a couple of Border Terriers - we used to take them in our MX5 but not the Zed.

:driving:

Love that coast line... keep intending to drive over there... just a bit of a hike from here...

Sprout is great in the Zed he is a miniature wire haired Daschund and is a bit smaller than yours so we use a harness and he lies on Linda's lap but he loves being in a car, thanks we love his name :)
