What a first week

So I picked up my Z4C just over a week ago, so I thought i'd give a little update.

I've covered just over 900 miles of mostly motorways (unfortunately), but also with a cracking drive up the Horseshoe Pass in north Wales a few times. I still absolutely love it!!

I'm not going to be doing much to the car modifications wise. I have however been looking up the sound generator mod, it just needs o sound a touch fruitier to go with the performance, but we'll see.

The car get's a lot of attention, the people who know what it is remark of how rare they are, and the people who don't think it's some kind of exotic sports car!

Anyway, here's a gratuitous picture parked in front of the house:

(Yeah, it's a bit dirty, being cleaned tomorrow  )

Welcome to E86 ownership OP.

Your car looks stunning, but I may be slightly biased!

Welcome to the forum!

Sound generator? I'm sure at the end of next week you'll have a few other things you want to pursue as well

Be sure to get some more pics up tomorrow :)

Looks fantastic!
I'm also a new coupe owner, so know what you're feeling. The blue is really smart.
Hope you get a nice drive in this weekend, I heard a rumour the sun will shine :driving:

Welcome to the forum, nice looking Z, bet you can't wait to get the roof down, oops sorry, yours is the hatchback model (jolly banter between roadsters and coupes) so no sun for you
Get some more photos up, we like photos

Lovely car. Fast becoming a classic.

Other easy and cheap mods if you're a manual is CDV removal and a weighted gearknob (ZHP or Storm-Motorwerks V1 or V2) really improve the shift. (Hopefully you're on normal tyres and not runflats)

Thanks for the nice words folks.

The car is an auto, I was very specifically after an auto with my last few cars having been manual. I often find myself in traffic where an auto makes things much more comfortable. I liked the auto option in this with the paddles to change though when you get a decent bit of road.

One of the wheels has some curbing to it, so I may eventually get them refurbed in a gunmetal or anthracite colour. As and when that happens, i'll look at changing the colour of the grilles. But at least for now, it'll stay as is.

The auto is great.
Mine is auto too, and this is the first auto I've ever owned. Took me a couple of weeks to adjust, and stop reaching for the gear stick when driving
Always amazed by just how smooth it is :driving:
