Lost for words :dizzy:
Ah you noticed! I was going to respond to his thread but thought I was only going to get berated for being mean.

I think the words "fecking nerve" sum it up quite well.

Seems to have either bought scrappers, or insurance recovered as he’s spent £7k on ‘repairs/resto’ on both of them, and they somehow forgot to get the door locks working, and at least one of them has got a ‘bit more damage’???

“Mork calling Orson”, “Nanu, nanu”.

My willpower was sorely tested, but I maintained my nerve and resisted commenting on it.

Well it made me laugh.

I can't see either of them selling for what he wants!

I’m way past that :tumbleweed:

Obviously oblivious of the market with those asking prices and piss poor detail, £7000 repairs, ON WHAT :idunno: :idunno: :idunno: :idunno:

And one of them might have a CAT but it’s ok he’s using the old log book and it doesn’t show on there

£5k for an incomplete wrap, which clashes with the red seats

This feels like a wind up….. :?

I couldn't resist. Sorry.

No apologies, you just beat me too it. You very politely pointed out, nah, f**k off, you don’t dictate the rules :rcard:

TBF I think it needed doing.

He's living in an alternative universe! Certainly won't get a quick sale at those prices.

I think the seller is being intentionally dishonest.

He knows the car has been written off, but is trying to pretend he doesn't realise.

The car is a category N write off.

Like I said in that thread the wrap can't be £5000, but removing the wrap, respraying panels, and then reapplying the same wrap only in the hundreds.

The Roadster must only be worth 2 or 3 k at the very most, coupe not much more.

Not sure they would cover the airfare ticket :)

Tim.

Nope, not having it, fishy is an understatement, and I resisted saying it but now with the responses, that E86 looks fucking awful. It looks like a half completed project and as TB said the seats and wrap shouldn’t be in the same postcode never mind the same car :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I think if you had any hope whatsoever of selling the coupe at least get all the dreadful wrap off and repair any body/paint issues. Problem with selling as is it shouts issues, 4 quad pipes and a wrap, regardless of what the seller is implying

Think the seller is dreaming that all the monies spent on the cars can be recouped, it never works like that with old cars unless rare and sought after.

Still, good luck with the sales. When I look at the cars to me they would be better as doner/parts cars.

Tim.

Offer £2k for the pair and break them.
