Probably seen before but what a bargain

http://www2.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/bmw/z4/postcode/po304ls/radius/1501/price-from/10000/sort/default/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/maximum-age/over_10_years_old

I know it's had a few mods but how much !!!!

It will be difficult to say something positive if a newbie comes on here saying: "Hi, look at my sterling grey z4 I've just bought from Sytners." :o

Regardless of the ask price this is a positive move for all E85/E86 owners
To see a highly regarded dealer offering a older model non M Z4 says a lot about where the Z4 is in the market place just now .
Like for like on years/miles the Zs appear to be holding value whilst Boxsters & SLKs don't

Bloomin' Sytners - elipsoids?! WTF Aren't they supposed to know about that kind of thing?...

I sold mine too cheaply but I'm sure my pal will be happy!

It's a year later and only has 44k

Can't really see it selling at that price but it is from a BMW Dealer so you never know.....................................

Makes mine look good at a year newer : nav , M seats and still less than 30k miles :) - still can't bring myself to sell it

Well, if it's got a good warranty and the buyer gets fixed the worry list that a 12 year old Zed has (sticky steering, roof motor, DISA, VANOS, springs, DSC), then it might be a good deal after all!

You could argue any make of car will have a list of potential faults - TBF on this forum you only hear about these issues when things go wrong - reading up on sticky steering pre facelift models the actual percentage of uk cars is minimal compared to the 1000's of cars sold. Similar with roof motors - my first zed was a 2003 model - in my 2 years of ownership there were none of these problems ( or evidence of repairs etc in the history of receipts ) - my current zed has never shown signs of sticky steering or roof motor or springs etc - may be I have been lucky and of course the mileage is exceptionally low but I bet there are many other owners out there who have not had a problem.

Not to mention it is decent condition for the age!

(Saw the car when I took a visit there the other weekend)
