Why does it do this. Nothing is wet inside or in the boot.

Just the dampness in the air at this time of the year - I suggest that you use the air conditioning system 100% of the time when the lid is on and it won’t be a problem.

Get some silicone-based stuff on all the rubber seals. There are so many, water is bound to weep through at least one if they are even slightly 'hard'.

And, of course, convertibles weren't really made for the British climate, what with it being constantly damp and dank for 5 months of the year. :roll:

The problem is tho., that every opening and closing of the door, a huge gulp of damp air is wafted into the car,
Look at the outside humidity to see just how wet it is.

If the car is an outdoor dweller the problem is increased.

Same as my car at the moment.
And my cars de-mister has never worked.
Might be also roof panel being aluminium, good heat sink.

Could try the silica gel trays, or just live with it.

That looks like some serious dampness.

Treating the seals and putting Silica gel inside ought to help. Have you checked for damp carpets or water in the boot from the rear light fittings?
