i had the car looked at yesterday by a mechanic friend of mine and he's found out where the water is coming in, there is a rubber seal which runs along the top of the windscreen and down each windscreen pillar, this seal then fits over another seal which runs along the top of the sill, what appears to be happening is water is running down between this seal and the door and then entering the car at the end of the black plastic cover which fits over the bottom seal. I priced this seal up at Scotthall's and was told it was £218!!!, the bottom seal was £50 so for both sides plus the seal over the windscreen equates to £318!! not very impressed. :x

Hey, sounds like we have the same issue. I have gone as far as taking a photo of the leak, and swearing about the carpet being wet... When i put the top cover on the car, problem solved! However this certainly is not a long term fix!

Please let me know how you get on, and if the seals are easy to change.

Need a weekend off, and dry to do the job, and thats not easy at the moment.

Where in Southampton are you? Im close by also!

That's exactly where mine leaks. I've ordered some Gummi pflege off eBay because I've heard that helps rejuvenate the rubber, I'll replace the seal as a last resort because it looks a right pain to do. I'm in Hamble, where are you?

When u park your car is the nose facing downwards? Had the same with mine and noticed if its on the level or nose up its fine not had a problem since

I usually park with the nose up slightly and the floor was wet behind the seat. I parked it on the level during nearly 4 days of torrential rain and it was coming in just in front of the seat running down the edge of the plastic sill cover, I looked today and its virtually dry now so not sure what's going on.
