The time has come for the 2012 Eurohoon. Leaving on the 9pm boat from Hull tomorrow we start with a 500 mile derestricted run through Germany to Bregenz on Saturday. Sunday takes in the good and the great of the Swiss Italian Alps including Fluella, Umbrail and Stevlio. Monday takes us to the Riviera and Monaco for a drive around the circuit still with grandstands and the feel of the weekend Grand Prix. Tuesday takes in Col du Turini and Route Napoleon before an overnight stoop in Sisteron in the heart of Provence. Wednesday takes in the high Alps, including the Col du Telegraph and Izard, through to Italy and then back through the Mont Blanc tunnel to overnight in Chamonix. Thursday is a French autoroute to Eperney for a closing night of champagne in the heart of champagne and then home Friday.
Roughly 3000 miles, a mix of the good and the great routes through the Alps and Provence. What's not to like. Go Pro mounts fixed to front bumper and rear diffuser and 3 others in convoy so there will be plenty of video. Life is good
