Flimper and I were at Goodwood's Soft Top Sunday meeting this morning. We were admiring an immaculate Sepang Bronze ///M Roadster and this guy says: "These now go for £90k". I stated that you would get one for a lot less and he says: "I should know, I work for BMW." Flimper asked what sort of mileage should one expect for £90k and he said about 25,000.

Flimper and I both decided not to pursue the conversation with this to$$er.

Mine is yours for £45k, discounted due to mileage! :lol:

On the side note, did you see that black e85 3.0 on the grid? I cant believe goodwood let him on with such a scruffy car..(sorry if it belonged to anyone on here)

I don't recall that one. I guess that Goodwood assume that people will make a bit of an effort if they get a display pass, but can hardly turn them away if they're a bit scruffy.

The display car that really upset me was a white Lamborghini in the paddock area. Nice enough car, but it was a hard top!! Now that should have benn turned away with mine taking its place!
