It's kept in a car storage place that's 20mins away at present, as they have some hydraulic ramps and engine/axle cranes, and they lock up at 6pm
Before I can use it (more than the blast up the road when it turned up
) I need to take most of it's mechanical parts apart and replace the seals, grease, fluids etc, as well as replace or repair the damaged bits, as although the top end was replaced recently, it was the only major thing done to it since being imported from Nevada a year ago, where it lived in a barn for 15 years hardly touched.
The last thing I want is for the tranny to go, as they appear to be an arse to source.
The intention is to rebuild it all over the next 6-8 months and have it ready for next summer.
