Not for me but for Mrs 85genius, she was getting sick of her old 206 that she has owned for the last 4 years so we have been looking around for a new car for her...
Saw a really nice 59 plate polo online so drove over to have a look at it over the weekend
when we got to the garage she really liked the Polo but I spotted something else that I thought she should take a look at....
The polo was registered early 2010 and didn't have remote locking or air con and had nearly 60k on the clock
This 2.5 years younger and does have remote locking and air con and was advertised at around £450 more than the polo so seemed to me like a no brainer considering its basically the same car underneath, managed to knock £200 off the asking price and think I could have got it a bit cheaper if I didn't have an enthusiastic Mrs jumping in and telling the bloke "I'll take it" mid negotiation
She isn't bothered about the steelies as she had em on the pug but think i'm going to look out for a decent set of seat/VW alloys for her once shes got used to the car and its dimensions so I know she isnt going to kerb them straight away
