Not a Welsh resident, but a favourite part of the world for me. always keen to join in on any road trips or meets.
 
Not sure what other people think of trackdays but i've just been looking at Llandow who are running trackdays again for £80.

Could be good fun. (I'm a trackday virgin!)

Any one fancy taking their Z's for a drive out on Sunday 29th Dec ? (Weather permitting) ...A chance to escape !

Loose plan:
10am Meet McDonalds/Asda Cardiff Jcn 32
Head up A470 to Merthyr, then across to Hirwaun.
Back over the Rhigos Mountain A4061(pic above) ,
Down to Pontypridd and then back to Cardiff.

(Approx 57 mile/90 min round trip, build in a few stops return by 2pm ???.)
...Christmas Jumpers compulsory !

Just a thought at this stage until the weather forecast becomes more accurate...

I would like to join you peeps for a blast, I am from the midlands but would be nice to have a run out over xmas, Although I would need to be heading back no later than about 2 ish, :D

I'm up for it too. However this was the scene on the A470 just North of Merthyr Tydfil yesterday, though should be clear now!

Hopefully that will have all thawed by Sunday !!!

The forecast for Sunday is now looking very good. - A cold but Crisp day with blue skies, when I last checked
