Well there we go!

2 out of 2 for advisory-free MOTs in the little motor. Not even a cracked 326M! :o
Exactly 3,000 miles driven in the past 12 months (most not by me of course) and as fresh today as this time last year. The emissions were actually less than last year!

Apart from fuel, RFL, an MOT and insurance the little E89 has cost absolutely nothing in 12 months! :D

Ten years old in March too!

It's always a relief to get another year's ticket with no advisories!

My Z4 got one in May 2022, even if it had only done 2,668 miles since the previous one.

Mine is on 2 from 2 as well and, like yours, has cost absolutely nothing to run (apart from all the costs, of course).

Yes, but you bought it from a tight Scotsman, so you need to make up the difference. Another 10 years, you will be even. :poke: :P

Never thought about it until frequenting forums. Admittedly until a few years ago the cars were sent back just before the dreaded MOT (leased).
Now feels like a 'right of passage'. :D

Shocked its done 3,000 miles in a year..
Me too Peter!
It's Ok, though, I gave her a good hiding (the wife not the car) and put her straight. :)

I'm ashamed to say that mine only did 2,530 between MOT's 2021/22
Think of the residuals Ron. EVERYBODY wants low mileage cars (even if they deny it on here).

At my age I really need it get out and drive more in the Springtime! The car will certainly outlast me.:
I suspect (and hope for) a bidding war when I turn my toes up!

The low use was the main reason that I didn’t buy the M40i in Sep/October - The current car is on 16.5k and registered Sept 16

I am surprised at this too. The way you talked it never left the driveway. You have taken quite a bit of unwarranted stick over this. 3000 miles a year is OK for a fun car more than what we have done in ours the last few years.

Thank you, sir!

I won't mention, then, that 'my' car has done 90 miles since September.

Two thousand a year? Three thousand? I do twelve. Year in, year out for the last 6 years, with no advisories.

You lads need to get off your bums and do some driving.
