Drove the Z home from work in the snow for the first time about 8pm tonight. I was a bit worried as it was laying about an inch or more deep even on the gritted roads but then I thought "last year I was riding my KTM in this so how bad can it be" 
It was actually quite enjoyable with no drama at all and it was quite happy bimbling along in 4th and 5th between 1 & 1.5k rpm.
Kudos to the driver of the police car that overtook me with lights blazing doing 40 or 50 in the snowy middle of the road
