275 miles of pure joy after 325 UK miles of tedium & congestion getting to Dover 
Just landed in Normandy after leaving Calais 3am , first 90miles fine weather & a motorway to myself
Had a play with the car that i hadn't managed in the previous 6 months for legal reasons
the noise from front & back is even more intoxicating when you hit the big numbers especially through the tunnels :w00t: & not even a quiver well into 3 numbers
Middle 100miles was a torrential washout but the Uni Rainsports ploughed through the standing water no dramas so cruised that part at 75mph
Had a brew + 40 winks leaving 50 miles to go , fired off from the services & within a mile was greeted with a startling double flash
thought i was a star but nooooo , 80 had suddenly become a 50 zone 
Took a few pics but time for a nap now , i'm goosed
