Well she passed the MOT but.....

More advisories than you can shake a hairy stick at

Front discs worn
Front pads worn
Front bushes worn
Rear axle corrosion

But she's back on the road with a working roof and a bloody good valet, so next few weekends which are bound to be wet I'll crack on with them there niggledy things, you would have thought in the six months she's been in the garage I would have done those.....

Surprising she passed emissions as she's done 145k and guzzles oil, but they were well in limits

Good news OP.

And at least you've got a year to get those issues sorted! :)

Rear axle corrosion? What's that all about?
I've never seen that on an advisory or fail in my life. Out of curiosity do you have the reference code of it from the MOT certificate

Is that going to be the drive shafts? They can get a bit of surface rust on them.

As for the brakes - there is a pad warning light for a reason and you can measure the discs. Depending on your driving style you can get many miles out of a set, if you've not changed before then measure every month and see how quickly they are wearing.

Wonder which front bushings...

Sure - surface rust on driveshafts but to detail it as 'rear axle corrosion' is odd. It was the MOT code I was interested in

My Z4 needed some new brake hard lines and rear pads, but she's passed now! Only advisory is front brakes a little low - but reckon there is one more track day in them (and i have spares when they go south)

The challenge will be making it to the next MOT - all my other track cars only ever needed one MOT...

Just says general corrosion, I had a quick look when I got back and the only stuff I could see was surface blemishes nothing major
Bushes are the lollipop ones which I've ordered and rears to go with them and new discs and pads as well
Something to do next weekend 😉
